If you like Las Vegas, you've found the right league. No other pool league gives you more opportunities to play in Las Vegas, period. No other league pays more at the National level. In many cases, you'll receive travel assistance to help you get there!
Between the National and Regional events listed below, we're in Vegas having fun and shooting pool four times a year. Nothing beats the excitement of walking into a ballroom filled with a couple hundred pool tables for the first time... knowing that you and/or your team can be on top once the dust settles. And there's plenty of other things to do - hit the casino, the bar, see a show, relax by the pool, hit the strip... or just chill.
March 20-23, 2014, Las Vegas, NV*
Every Spring, 3-person teams from APA leagues throughout the Southwest (California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico) descend upon Las Vegas for a fun regional event known as the 8-Ball Southwest Challenge. This event is a great way to meet and compete with APA players from all over the Southwest. If the team events aren't enough to keep you busy, there are several MiniMania events offered as well.

April 30 – May 4, 2014, Las Vegas, NV*
The culmination of the APA Singles Program is the APA National Singles Championships, held annually at the Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. This event consists of two individual National Singles Championships, the 8-Ball Classic (May 1-3, 2014) & 9-Ball Shootout (May 3-4, 2014*) and is run in conjunction with 8-Ball Doubles, 9-Ball Doubles, Wheelchair Challenge Preregistered events as well as a full load of MiniMania events.
August 14-23, 2014, Las Vegas, NV*
The culmination of weekly APA League play is the APA National Team Championships, held annually at the Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. This event consists of two individual National Team Championships: Open 8-Ball, Open 9-Ball and is run in conjunction with the Ladies 8-Ball Championship, Jack & Jill Championship, Masters Championship and MiniMania events. October 16-19, 2014, Las Vegas, NV*
Similar to its Spring counterpart, there's a 3-person team regional event every Fall in the 9-ball format. Again, you'll see new as well as familiar faces from APA leagues throughout the Southwest (California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico). If the team events aren't enough to keep you busy, there are several MiniMania events offered as well.
During National Singles and National Team Championships, Las Vegas, NV*
Several Preregistered Championships run in conjunction with the National Singles Championships (NSC) and National Team Championships (NTC). These championships are smaller specialty events that each league area can opt-in to through a lottery process.
During each of the National Championships and Regional events, the APA hosts MiniMania events nearly around-the-clock, which consist of a variety of formats, providing APA members with as many opportunities as possible to compete while in Las Vegas. Some people travel to Las Vegas during Regional and National events for the sole purpose of competing in MiniMania tournaments!.
