Division Top Gun (MVP) Winners

Sacramento APA players are recognized for their individual performance during each session though the Top Gun program. The top performers by skill level tier in each division for the previous session are shown below. The skill level tiers used for the Top Gun program are the same used in the APA Singles Nationals program.
 
The Top Gun calculation reflects the number of points you contribute to your team's score throughout the session, expressed as a percentage of maximum points you could have contributed. For example, if you completely shutout your opponent (3-0 in 8-ball or 20-0 in 9-ball) you will have achieved a perfect 1.00 (100%) for that night. Your Top Gun rating will be a running average of these scores. You must play at least six matches during the session to be eligible for Top Gun.
 
If you play two matches on a given night due to the Replay Rule in the bylaws, only the first match will contribute towards your Top Gun rating. 
 
This list reflects the Top Gun winners from the 2017 Spring Session. Patches will be awarded during the first week or two of the 2017 Summer Session.
 
Each Fall, Top Gun finishers in each tier over the previous three sessions will be invited to the Top Gun tournament. A list of eligible players will be posted approximately two weeks prior to the tournament.
 
*** In order to promote consistency throughout all APA league areas, the APA National Office is standardizing the name of this program to be "MVP". Moving into the future, we will be transitioning from "Top Gun" to "MVP". All other details related to this program will remain the same.
